# Send invoice emails from your own domain

Register a domain on the account, publish its DNS records and verify it: invoice emails then go out from your address instead of BeeL.'s.

Oct 23, 2026 · New

Custom sending domains are an Enterprise add-on: talk to sales to add it. Domains belong to the account and are the same in Test and Live; writes need a live API key. Verification is asynchronous, a domain never verified is removed after 72 hours, and sending never stops because of a domain: if it is not verified, the email goes out from BeeL.'s address.

## What else changed

- **Six new operations** under `/v1/accounts/{account_id}/email-domains`, with the `email-domains:read` and `email-domains:write` scopes.
- **Three new webhooks:** `email_domain.verified`, `email_domain.failed` and `email_domain.removed`, sent only to the Live endpoints of the account that owns the domain.
- **Six new error codes**, all starting with `EMAIL_DOMAIN_`.

## Endpoints

- `GET /v1/accounts/{account_id}/email-domains` — List the domains and the account's limit
- `POST /v1/accounts/{account_id}/email-domains` — Register a domain and get its DNS records
- `GET /v1/accounts/{account_id}/email-domains/{email_domain_id}` — Read one domain
- `POST /v1/accounts/{account_id}/email-domains/{email_domain_id}/verify` — Ask for a new DNS check
- `PUT /v1/accounts/{account_id}/email-domains/{email_domain_id}/default` — Make it the account's default
- `DELETE /v1/accounts/{account_id}/email-domains/{email_domain_id}` — Remove it
