What the BeeL. API costs per NIF (tax ID), what each plan includes and what it doesn't, the Stripe plan's volume tiers, how billing works, and how to get a custom price for several NIFs.

## API plan

One NIF, one monthly price. The plan covers the whole integration: nothing below is an add-on.

## Stripe plan

If you connect Stripe or invoice from the dashboard instead of integrating the API, you pay by **invoice volume** instead of per NIF. Each tier can be billed monthly or yearly; the yearly price is charged once a year.

More than 5,000 invoices a month, at a custom price. [Talk to sales](https://beel.es/ventas).

- Going over never stops invoicing: invoices past your tier are issued normally and billed at your tier's per-invoice price.
- Overage is always billed monthly. On yearly billing it arrives as a separate monthly charge, apart from the yearly renewal.
- You get an email when you reach 80 % and 100 % of the invoices in your tier.
- Webhooks and idempotency come with the API plan: see [Webhooks](/webhooks) and [Idempotency](/guides/idempotency).

## How billing works

### What counts as an invoice

**Counts towards your invoices:**

- \+ **Issued in production** — standard, corrective, simplified and recurring

**Never counts:**

- ✓ **Drafts** — free until issued
- ✓ **Sandbox invoices** — always free
- ✓ **Deleted invoices**

Included invoices are counted per **monthly billing period**, which starts on the day of the month your subscription started, not on the 1st. On the API plan each NIF has its own allowance: allowances are not pooled across NIFs.

### Your monthly bill

1. **The base price** — the API plan's price per NIF live in production, or your Stripe-plan tier (monthly, or yearly in one charge).
2. **Overage** — only the invoices past the included ones, at 0.01 € each on the API plan or at your tier's price on the Stripe plan. Billed monthly.
3. **VAT** — added on top of both.

## Limits and availability

API requests are rate-limited per API key; the limits and response headers are in [Rate limits](/guides/rate-limits). Our [Terms of Service](https://beel.es/terminos) (section 13, *API terms of use*) do not guarantee 100 % availability, but commit to a minimum of 99.5 % a month. ## Custom pricing

More than one NIF on the API plan, more than 5,000 invoices a month on the Stripe plan, or a higher included-invoice allowance: we agree a price per NIF with you, for your volume.

On the API plan the API enforces it: until a price is agreed, adding a second NIF, or switching a NIF on in Live when the account has several, answers `403` [`CONTACT_SALES_REQUIRED`](/errors/CONTACT_SALES_REQUIRED) with the sales link in `error.details.salesUrl` — see [More than one NIF on the API plan](/multi-nif/companies#more-than-one-nif-on-the-api-plan).
